Subdued opened its Soho flagship at 12 Foubert's Place in spring 2019. The label started in Rome in the 1990s and still designs every piece in-house, leaning on '90s and Y2K references for teens and young adults. The shop is laid out like an oversized walk-in wardrobe, with open rails of pastel knits, low-rise denim and graphic tees alongside accessories and a few beauty picks. Staff give free size advice and outfit help, and there is click-and-collect for online orders. Fitting rooms are roomy and the tills are cashless, so you are back on Carnaby Street in a few minutes. New stock lands weekly, with the odd limited capsule.

The Soho boutique is one of around 130 stores internationally. Swing tags carry full fibre content and the products follow EU safety standards. Subdued appears on the official This Is Soho brand list and was picked out by the Retail Bulletin in 2019 among Carnaby's wave of global arrivals. Google reviewers tend to mention the attentive service and fair pricing, and Klarna is available at checkout. The store also runs student-discount events and the occasional styling workshop.
