Local barbershop Fella is in the race to become a winner after making it to the finals of both the National Salon Business Awards and the HAIR Awards! Both awards are highly esteemed in the industry:
The Salon Business Awards recognise outstanding individuals, businesses, and initiatives making waves in the industry, with the support of sponsors HairCon, Jena, Remi Cachet and Keratin Complex.
Sponsored by Revlon Professional, the HAIR Awards honour the hair heroes of the High Street and salons up and down the country and are the insider’s guide to the top people in the hair world.
Fella is based on the Carnaby Estate in London’s Soho. Its shop has been a barbershop for over 100 years and was taken over by Fella in 2021. It is their flagship shop and part of the Fella group, which has other locations around Kent.
After beating off a ton of entries in the Barbering Specialist category (entered by Alex Wakefield) for the Salon Business Awards and the Men’s Specialist Salon for the HAIR Awards, to win a place in the finals for both awards, Director Bobby Gordonsaid: "I’m incredibly excited to see our barbershop’s dedication to quality and community celebrated in these prestigious awards. I’m grateful for the opportunity to create a welcoming space where everyone feels valued and will continue to serve our amazing clients with top-notch service!"
To celebrate these achievements, there are two exciting events taking place in London on the same day! Monday, 24th March will start with the HAIR Awards at Sweeties, The Standard on Argyle Street in the afternoon, followed by the Salon Business Awards at 12th Knot, Sea Containers in the evening.
Fella looks forward to gathering alongside fellow finalists, judges, and guests, bringing together the best and brightest to celebrate their success in the industry.
