Cafe de Nata

London's Home of Pastéis de Nata

About Cafe de Nata

Café de Nata was the first café-bakery in the UK to specialise in pastéis de nata, the Portuguese custard tart. The pastry is crisp and flaky, the custard silky and smooth, and the tarts are made by hand and baked fresh throughout the day at every London location.

Part of the appeal is that you can watch the whole thing happen. The preparation and baking are done in-store, so customers see exactly how each nata is made. There are vegan options too, and the tarts pair well with the barista coffees on the menu.

Locals and visitors come for the same reason: an authentic taste of Portugal, made in front of you, in central London.
