About Crazy Coqs
Crazy Coqs is Soho's home of intimate cabaret, a beautifully preserved Art Deco performance room tucked inside the Brasserie Zedel complex off Piccadilly Circus. With its curved bar, etched glass and close-set tables, it recreates the feel of a 1930s supper club, and has become one of London's most characterful stages for song, jazz and spoken word.
As a dedicated venue for cabaret in Soho, it runs a busy calendar of live music, cabaret, comedy and theatre, with performers close enough to catch every nuance. Drinks and small plates come to the table, and the Bar Américain and Zedel brasserie are steps away, so an evening here easily stretches into dinner and a nightcap.
What to expect from this cabaret venue in Soho
Expect an intimate, seated room with table service and a nightly programme that spans jazz singers, cabaret, musical theatre performers, comedy and the occasional talk. Sightlines are close and the atmosphere is dressed-up but warm. Shows are ticketed, often with an early and late house, and it suits a special night out rather than a casual drop-in.
The room and the group
Part of the Wolseley Hospitality Group's Zedel complex, Crazy Coqs sits across the foyer from Bar Américain and above the brasserie. It complements Brasserie Zedel, with more of the area's venues in our Soho venues listings.
How a visit works
Crazy Coqs runs ticketed shows most evenings on Sherwood Street, downstairs in the Zedel complex; book ahead and check the calendar, as programmes and show times vary nightly. Listings and tickets are on its official site, with more on DesignMyNight.
