Ember Yard

Ember Yard sits on Berwick Street in Soho and brings the wood-fired grills of Spain and Italy to London. Head Chef Adam Kulikowski leads the kitchen, which centres on sharing plates both small and large. The approach is simple: no fuss, no fanfare, just flavour. The restaurant runs over two floors, with The Ember Bar downstairs serving small plates alongside a long cocktail list.

The atmosphere is lively and busy, in keeping with Soho around it. The downstairs bar is more laid-back, a good spot for a drink before or after dinner, and the cocktail list is built to go with the sharing plates. The dishes are cooked over wood-fired grills, and the aromas carry a Mediterranean feel. Between the food, the cocktails and the setting, it offers its own take on Soho.
