About Forza Wine

Forza Wine brought its cult mix of Italian-ish small plates and low-intervention wine to Soho in early 2026, opening in the Ilona Rose House development on Manette Street. It is the third site from the team that made its name with a Peckham rooftop and a spot at the National Theatre, and it carries the same easy, wine-led spirit into a smart new Soho room.

As a buzzy Italian wine bar in Soho, its appeal is drinking as much as eating: a thoughtfully chosen, mostly natural and low-intervention list poured by the glass and bottle, matched with a short menu of Italian-leaning small plates. The sub-five-pound vermouth cocktails and famous custardos have followed it across town, and the courtyard setting gives it a lift.

What to expect from this Italian wine bar in Soho

Expect small plates built for sharing over wine: seasonal Italian-ish dishes, snacks and the odd pasta, alongside a drinks list that leans into low-intervention and natural bottles plus keenly priced vermouth cocktails. It is designed for grazing and a few glasses rather than a formal sit-down, and it works as well for an early aperitivo as a long evening.

The team and the setting

Forza Wine built a devoted following on good wine, low prices and a lack of pretension, and the Soho site brings that to a polished courtyard space off Charing Cross Road. It sits among Manette Street's newer arrivals, near Italian neighbour Daroco, with more of the area's tables in our Soho restaurants listings.

How a visit works

Forza Wine Soho opens Monday to Saturday from noon to midnight and Sunday from noon to 8pm, with the kitchen running to 10.30pm most nights and 6.30pm on Sunday. Walk in for a glass or book ahead for a table. Menus and bookings are on its official site, and the opening was covered by Broadsheet.
