Garlic & Shots

Garlic & Shots is a low-lit, gothic-styled bar in Soho where the whole menu revolves around one ingredient: garlic. The kitchen takes a cantina-style approach, and just about every dish is built around that bold flavour, from simple garlic-heavy plates to more inventive cooking. Light snack or full meal, garlic runs through all of it.

The dim lighting and gothic décor give the room an unusual, slightly mysterious feel, and it's a one-off in the area. Alongside the food there's a good run of shots, beers and other drinks, which makes it a popular stop for an evening out.

One thing to know: they don't take table reservations, so it's a drop-in. That's part of the character of the place.
