Machine-A opened in Soho in 2013, founded by Stavros Karelis after a run of earlier pop-ups and underground fashion ventures. You will find it at 13 Brewer Street, Soho W1F 0RH. Over the past decade it has made its name curating independent fashion and getting London's newer designers in front of audiences abroad.

The edit covers avant-garde fashion, unisex clothing, sneakers and limited edition drops, with newer labels shown next to more established names in a gender-fluid layout. Staff help with styling, sizing, bespoke orders and tracking down particular pieces. Much of the shop's standing comes from its longevity, its coverage in the fashion press and its record as a launch pad for new design talent.
