About Nessa
Nessa is a modern British restaurant and bar at 86 Brewer Street, on the ground floor of 1 Warwick, just off Regent Street. It works for several different sorts of visit: breakfast before work, lunch in central London, a meal before a West End show, or dinner and drinks in a warm, well-designed room. There are window seats for watching the street, a proper bar for cocktails, and tables that suit couples and larger groups alike.
The kitchen cooks modern British food shaped by the seasons, much of it over a live-fire grill that treats meat, fish, vegetables and fruit with equal seriousness. The menu changes, but recent dishes have included aged beef tartare with beef-fat charred sourdough, grilled sea bream with fine beans, brown shrimp and peppercorn sauce, roast rump of West Country lamb with black garlic, parsnip, chilli and mint, and sticky ginger cake with caramelised milk ice cream. The bar stands on its own too, good for snacks and an evening drink as much as a full sit-down meal.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner run Monday to Friday: breakfast 08:00 to 11:15, lunch 12:00 to 15:15, dinner 17:00 to 23:00 with last food orders at 21:45. Saturday brings brunch from 09:00 to 15:15 then dinner from 17:00 to midnight, and Sunday brunch runs 09:00 to 17:00. The address is 86 Brewer Street, London W1F 9UB, near Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square. Reservations can be made online, with group dining for larger parties.
