Prince Edward Theatre
Art Deco Elegance in the West End
About Prince Edward Theatre
The Prince Edward Theatre has stood on Old Compton Street since 1930, an Art Deco survivor among Soho's narrow lanes. With 1,727 seats, it has carried a long run of dramas, comedies, operas and musicals over the decades, including "My Fair Lady", "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Les Misérables".
Today the stage belongs to "MJ", the musical built around the songs of Michael Jackson, with the choreography and costumes that go with them. The address puts you in easy reach of the rest of the West End, and the building itself is worth a look before the lights go down.
