Robata

A Fireside Culinary Adventure

About Robata

ROBATA takes its name from the Japanese word for 'fireside', and the cooking lives up to it. Robata is charcoal grilling, a technique that goes back to old fishermen cooking their fresh catch over hot coals. The kitchen keeps to that method while giving Japan's best-loved dishes a modern turn, alongside its own ROBATA signatures.

The setting follows the izakaya style, and the bar matches the food with a long list of sake and sake-based cocktails. Signatures include the Sake Mojito, Ume Ocha and Umetini. As an independent restaurant, ROBATA sticks to Japanese principles: friendly service, fresh food, natural cooking, and dishes meant to please all five senses.
