Soma

Soma is a cocktail bar at 14 Denman Street in Soho, London. It opened in 2021 and sits in a basement, taking a modern turn on the classic speakeasy. A 9-metre stainless steel bar seats up to 25 guests, and an adjacent lounge area with comfortable seating works well for smaller gatherings or private events.

The cocktail menu draws on the Indian subcontinent. The Chaat Margarita mixes Tapatio Blanco Tequila with Mezcal Verde, chaat masala, gooseberry, and kumquat. The Coconut Ramos Fizz pairs Jindea gin with coconut yogurt, citrus blossoms, and pink grapefruit soda.

Soma is open Monday to Saturday, with hours running into the early morning. It mainly takes walk-ins but accepts limited reservations for groups of up to 8 between 6pm and 9pm, while the lounge can be booked for larger groups or private events.
