About The Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club at 18 Old Compton Street has been feeding Soho since 2005, and it is the original site of the all-day breakfast and brunch chain. The look is American diner crossed with the 1980s, walls covered in movie posters, neon signs and odd bits of memorabilia.
The menu plays it up too. There are fluffy pancakes piled with fruit and whipped cream, hearty "Slammer" breakfast sandwiches stacked with eggs, bacon and sausage, and the "Eggs Benedict Arnold" with smoked salmon and hollandaise that regulars order again and again.
Brunch runs until 5pm, so you will also find the "Eggslut" burgers, steaks, salads and vegetarian dishes. For anyone with a sweet tooth there are milkshakes, sundaes and bottomless coffee. Portions are generous, the staff are welcoming, and it has become a fixture for locals and tourists.
