YMC

YMC stands for "You Must Create", a name taken from Raymond Loewy's line, "You must create your own design style". Founded in 1995, the London label built its identity around individuality and a willingness to break the usual rules.

It started with unisex garments drawn from workwear and military attire, aiming for clothes with a timeless feel. The collections come from director Moss, who pulls from music, literature and the arts alongside a post-punk, DIY attitude. The result is fashion that stays contemporary while reminding you to create and own your own style.
