Soho Street is a short one, running parallel to Oxford Street in Soho. The name, like the wider area, is thought to come from a 17th-century hunting call once shouted across the fields that covered this part of London.
These days it is mostly a mix of residential and commercial property. There are no major landmarks to speak of. What it does have is position. Tottenham Court Road station is close by, which keeps it well connected to the rest of the city by Underground.
