Wedgewood Mews is a small mews off Wardour Street in Soho. It takes its name from the Georgian potter Josiah Wedgwood, recalling his showroom that once stood nearby, though the modern spelling carries an extra letter.
The mews as seen today is not original fabric: it was redeveloped from former warehouses in 1982 to 1984, reusing the old back-land behind the street frontage. The result is a quiet, enclosed run of low buildings off one of Soho's busiest north-south streets, set among the offices, restaurants and flats that fill this part of the area.
