Wilder Walk is a pedestrian passage near Piccadilly Circus, just off Glasshouse Street at the southern edge of Soho. Despite its old-Soho feel it is entirely new, created in the redevelopment that followed the demolition of most of the Regent Palace Hotel, and runs through ground that was once the hotel's lobby.
It is named after Ian Wilder, a local councillor who died in 2009 and was known for his work for Soho residents. The passage doubles as a public artwork called Timelines, a light installation set within layered glass panels along its walls, and gives onto modern offices.
