About Crème
Crème has turned a small D'Arblay Street unit into one of Soho's go-to stops for a warm, oversized cookie. The London offshoot of a brand built on freshly baked, generously sized cookies, it works the corner of Berwick and D'Arblay with a short, indulgent line-up of bakes, soft-serve ice cream and coffee, and a near-permanent queue to match.
As a dedicated cookie shop in Soho, its pull is simplicity done well: thick, gooey cookies baked through the day in a handful of flavours, from dark and milk chocolate to a banana dark chocolate and a white chocolate miso. Add a scoop of soft-serve or a coffee to go and it is an easy sweet detour off the market street.
What to expect from this cookie shop in Soho
Expect a tight menu built for grab-and-go: freshly baked oversized cookies in rotating flavours, soft-serve ice cream and espresso-based coffee. You can order boxes of six or twelve to take away or online, which makes it as good for a gift or an office run as for a single warm cookie on the spot. It is compact and counter-led rather than a sit-down cafe.
Cookies, soft-serve and coffee
The flavour list keeps things classic with a twist, the white chocolate miso being the signature curveball, and the bakes are the reason to come. It sits among D'Arblay Street's independents, a couple of doors from bistro Blanchette, with more of the area's cafes and sweet spots in our Soho coffee shops listings.
How a visit works
