Napoli On The Road

Napoli On The Road arrived on Wardour Street in late 2025 with a serious pedigree behind it: its founder, the Naples-born pizzaiolo Michele Pascarella, was crowned the world's best pizza maker at the 2023 50 Top Pizza awards, and his brand has been named Europe's best pizzeria for two years running

About Napoli On The Road

Napoli On The Road arrived on Wardour Street in late 2025 with a serious pedigree behind it: its founder, the Naples-born pizzaiolo Michele Pascarella, was crowned the world's best pizza maker at the 2023 50 Top Pizza awards, and his brand has been named Europe's best pizzeria for two years running. The Soho site is its most ambitious yet, set across two floors and built around chrome-finished ovens.

What sets it apart is the format. Alongside a full menu of Neapolitan pizza in Soho, Napoli On The Road offers what it bills as London's first pizza tasting menu, a multi-course run that treats the pizza as something to be plated and paced rather than simply ordered by the slice. It is a genuine destination for anyone who takes their dough seriously.

Where to find the best Neapolitan pizza in Soho

The core is proper Naples-style pizza: slow-fermented dough, a soft, charred cornicione and carefully sourced toppings, fired fast in the ovens on display. Order a la carte for a classic margherita or marinara, or take the tasting menu for the full, chef-led experience. The two floors give it room for both a quick lunch and a longer sit-down dinner.

The pizzaiolo and the awards

The draw here is genuine expertise. Michele Pascarella built his reputation on competition wins and consistency, and the Soho opening brings that award-winning cooking to the middle of the West End. It joins a strong field of Italian and pizza kitchens in the area, from Franco Manca nearby to the rest of our Soho restaurants listings.

How a visit works

Napoli On The Road opens daily from noon until 10.30pm across both floors. Walk in for a quick pizza or book ahead for the tasting menu and busier evening service. Current menus are on its official site, and the opening was covered by the London food press, including Hot Dinners.
