Marlborough Court is a short turning off Carnaby Street, linking it through to Berwick Street. It takes its name from John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough, and shares an origin with neighbouring Lowndes Court in a market house built here in 1725-6, the two courts forming the passages on either side of the island site.
The hip-hop record shop Deal Real traded at number 3 from 2002, a fixture of the area's music trade before it closed. Today the court runs between clothing and souvenir shops, a quiet cut-through in the Carnaby grid rather than a destination in its own right.
